    BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT:

    President Kellie Kelsey called the meeting to order at 7:10 pm.  Sue Ryckman read the Minutes from the previous meeting.  Motion to accept Minutes by Christie Ludwig, seconded by Rebecca Dyson.  Treasurer Christie Ludwig read the treasurer's report.  Sue Ryckman made a motion to accept the treasurer's report, seconded by Kellie Kelsey. $1,324.69 in General Fund.


    FOOTBALL:

    No coordinators present.   Football pictures are scheduled for September 13th.  $1361.70 in account.


    CHEERLEADING:

    All committee members present.   Cheerleading going well.  There is no varsity football team, therefore, varsity cheerleaders have no games to cheer at.  Varsity will be doing extra competitions. Waiting to get info in that regard.  Photosmith is doing pictures.  Will take place on September 6. A letter was sent home regarding supervision of children during practices and games, that children should not be playing in building.   $3298.43 in account.


    TRAVEL SOCCER:

    No Coordinator present.   $.78 in account.
     


    NON-TRAVEL SOCCER

    No coordinators present.   $1731.39 in account.



    BASKETBALL:

    Coordinator Roy Neeland present. No new news. Trying to contact people in league.  Will need to get use of facility forms for each school. $39.55 in account.


    SOFTBALL:

    Coordinator Kellie Kelsey present at meeting.  Nothing new. $220.93 in account.


    BASEBALL:

    Coordinator Christie Ludwig  present at meeting.   Baseball has purchased one pitching machine, possibly two more. Working on cages.  $965.38 in account.


    WRESTLING:

    No Coordinator present.   Banquet was held at Roseland.  Tom Patterson will be taking over for Dave Horning.  $380.48 in account.


    FOOD BOOTH:

    Becky Dibble not present.  Dates were picked for sports to run food booth as follows:

    Sept. 3 - Varsity game - Softball
    Sept. 8 - JV game - Travel Soccer
    Sept. 23 - Varsity game - Cheerleading
    Sept. 15 - JV game - Baseball
    Sept. 30 - Varsity game - Football
    Oct. 5/6 - JV game - Basketball
    Playoff game - Varsity - Travel Soccer
    Oct. 13 - JV game - Wrestling

    Dates of Oct. 1 and Oct. 15 for HS girls soccer game are open for whatever sport wants them.


    OLD BUSINESS:

    Suggestion box is now in food booth with forms to fill out.  Shannon submitted to the Pennysaver under the donation section, a request for a popcorn machine and a hot chocolate machine.
    Brickhouse corners is scheduled for Sept. 10th.  Pigs have been purchased from John Lempenau. He will deliver them to Warsaw Meat Packing. Sue Ryckman will pick pigs up on Friday, Sept. 9.  Rodney with Three Pigs will be supplying two roasters, a grill for hamburgers/hotdogs, and he will be helping to cook all day. Sign-up sheets are available.


    NEW BUSINESS:

    Francis St. Clair passed away. A sympathy card has been sent to the family. The family requested that donations be made to PYA in lieu of flowers.  A $25 donation has been received.  A thank you card should be sent to sender and the ST. Clair family.

    PYA will have an executive session to discuss the St. Clair award, how it got extended from one award to becoming an award for everyone. Will discuss whether to continue that or to go back to the original intention.

    Sgt. Of Arms John Wetzel will be stepping down from his position in December.

    Shannon Johnson is looking into the possibility of a donation of a popcorn machine and hot chocolate machine for the food booth.


    COMMITTEES:

    BRICKHOUSE CORNERS:  Permits, Pepsi contact, and Town contact has been made by Kellie Kelsey. Sue Ryckman in contact with Three Pigs on donation of roasters.  Sue Ryckman will contact John Lempenau regarding purchase of pigs.  Sign up sheet is available for help during the day. Waiting to make sure we have home football game.

    NEW MEMBERS:

    None.  Membership closed.


    Kellie Kelsey made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:00pm, seconded by Christie Ludwig.
    The Next meeting will take place Thurs., October 6, at 7:00 pm. In cafeteria.
