MEETING MINUTES

Vice President Diane Horning called the meeting to order at 7:05 PM. The Minutes from the previous meeting were read by Sue Ryckman. John Wetzel made a motion to accept the Minutes, seconded by Sue. Diane read the Treasurer's report. Diane made a motion to accept the treasurer's report, seconded by John.
FOOTBALL:
No coordinator present.
CHEERLEADING:
No coordinator present.
BASEBALL:
John Wetzel coordinator. Practices will be beginning shortly. John will contact Scott Boyd for use of gym facilities. There will be invitations and tryouts for Babe Ruth team. Only four kids for 5-6 year olds, and five kids for 7-8 year olds. Will have to cancel age groups due to lack of sign-ups. Will be returning funds to parents.
SOFTBALL:
No coordinator present.
SOCCER:
No coordinator present.
WRESTLING:
Tournament was a success. Raised approximately $1900 for general fund from food booth, and $5700 from entry fees. A great success! The food booth was shorthanded on volunteers. Need a phone tree set up. Check out web site for schedules and upcoming events.
BASKETBALL:
Banquet on April 17. Coordinator not present at meeting.
COMMITTEES:
PYA Dance Social.
OLD BUSINESS:
Need a contact with the Capital Improvement project to have known the needs and concerns of PYA.
NEW BUSINESS:
No new business. All Use of Facility forms need to go through Jake. All coaches need to fill out application form for insurance purposes. Any requests or purchases for sports must go through the coordinator. Copy of PYA Member Requirements to be given to all members. Our website is www.pyadragons.com.
