MINUTES OF PYA MEETING

Held on Thursday, February 7th, 2008

BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT:
All present.

 
President Brian Swank called the meeting to order at 7:10 pm. Johna Swank read the Minutes from the previous meeting.  Motion to accept Minutes by Brian Swank, second by Tom Nichols.  Christi Ludwig read the treasurer’s report. Brian Swank made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report, seconded by Roy Neeland. $3,542.55 in General Fund.
At the executive meeting it was discussed to start making plans for changes concerning the food booth and there will be a letter going out to 2007 members who did not meet there requirements to be 2008 members. We also went over an agenda of  topics.

FOOTBALL:
Jamie VonKramer present. Nothing new.   $3,449.02 in account.

CHEERLEADING:
No coordinator present. Nothing new.   $1,319.58 in account.

TRAVEL SOCCER:
No coordinator present.  $428.66 in account.

NON-TRAVEL SOCCER:
Lindsey Dibble present. There are 55 kids so far. Just getting ready for season.   $761.37 in account.

BASKETBALL:
Roy Neeland present. They are halfway through season. Picture information will be coming soon. $1,793.13 in account.                                                                                                                           

SOFTBALL AND BASEBALL:
Brian Swank and Tim Sanner present. For Softball, Tim is waiting for league names and numbers of coordinators. For Baseball, Brian has meeting scheduled for Feb. 13th. They are in need of 3 more 9 & 10 yr. olds. There is a full 11&12 yr old team, two 7&8 yr old teams, and three t-ball teams which play in house. No applications accepted after February 8th! $2,209.37 in account.

WRESTLING:
Tim Sanner present. Tournament went well. He is deciding on how to end the season at the banquet.  $2,851.19 in account.

FOOD BOOTH:
Nothing new.

COMMITTEES:
Need a Scholarship committee. Deadline will be set for April 15th.Mrs. Fagan will be in charge with Roy Neeland  and Gregg Stone.

OLD BUSINESS:
Membership forms are due by March 1st, 2008. The fee is $90.00.Winterfest made $440.00 There were about 730 people that attended. We will participate again next year.

NEW BUSINESS:
Nothing new.

NEW MEMBERS:
Need to fill out form for 2008. You can mail them to P.O. Box 386 Corfu, NY 14036.

Brian Swank made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:40 p.m., seconded by Roy Neeland.

The Next meeting will take place Thursday, March 6th, 2008 at 7:00 pm. in cafeteria.
