MINUTES OF PYA MEETING

BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT:

President Brian Swank called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm. Johna Swank read the Minutes from the previous meeting.  Motion to accept Minutes by Brian Swank, second by Christi Ludwig. Christi Ludwig read the treasurer’s report. Brian Swank made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report, seconded by Roy Neeland. $4,277.68 in General Fund.
At the executive meeting it was discussed to try and have an away game at Akron the weekend of Brickhouse next year on September 6th. Webmaster will speak tonight at meeting about website. We need to finish talking about food for Wrestling tournament.

FOOTBALL:
Mark Dibble  present. They will be having a meeting in Medina soon.  $3,483.02 in account.

CHEERLEADING:
No coordinator present.  $1,321.58 in account.

TRAVEL SOCCER:
Wendy Houseknecht  present.  Forms will be out soon for a summer soccer program. $428.66 in account.

NON-TRAVEL SOCCER:
Amy Howes present. She will also be doing the summer soccer program. She will be selling fleece headbands if anyone is interested.   $1,007.37 in account.

BASKETBALL:
Roy  Neeland present. The games will start this Saturday the 5th.The uniforms came in today. He had sponsors name put on the shorts. Anyone interested in volunteering as an official for the dates of January 5th and 12th, February 2nd and 23rd, or March 1st please let him know. Also, if you would like to help sell food and water in hall during games, let him know.  $2,050.63 in account.

SOFTBALL AND BASEBALL:
Brian Swank and Tim Sanner present. Nothing new for Softball except there will be a meeting next week. For Baseball, there will be the first sign-up on January 8th from 6-8. On January 9th there will be a Baseball committee meeting. The committee members are , besides Brian and Tim, Gregg Stone, Steve Cottington, and Dan Stiles.  - $203.63 in account.

WRESTLING:
Tim Sanner present. We are getting ready for tournament on January 19th.  Still in need of food and table help. Becky will do the shopping. Going to have beverages, muffins, and donuts for breakfast. Dinner will be hotdogs and hamburgs. They decided on a round robin. Still in need of coach. $1,189.15 in account.

FOOD BOOTH:
Nothing new.

COMMITTEES:
Nothing new.

OLD BUSINESS:
Webmaster is here and will speak about site and answer questions.

NEW BUSINESS:
Membership forms need to be filled out for 2008. For the Winterfest,[January 26th] PYA can also sell pop with Beef on Weck. Should make a volunteer sign up list.  Need to appoint new members. They are: 1}Gregg Stone 2}Mark Dibble 3}Tom Nichols 4}Tim Sanner

NEW MEMBERS:
Need to fill out form for 2008.

Brian Swank made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:00 p.m., seconded by Becky Dibble.

The Next meeting will take place Thursday, February 7th, 2008  at 7:00 pm. in cafeteria.
